FAQ

What is aluminium composite (ACM)?

ACM is a 3mm thick panel widely used in the sign industry and to clad hoardings. It is extremely strong, lightweight and has low expansion and contraction rates making it ideal for outdoor signage. It is made up of two thin sheets of aluminum sandwiching a polyethylene core.

How long do the printed panels last?

Subject to site conditions and regular maintenance the printed panels last 3 years un-laminated and 5 years laminated.

What size are the individual panels?

Standard panels are 2440mm x 1220mm, which is the standard size of the timber hoarding. We can also print onto larger panels such as 3050mm x 1515mm or 3050mm x 1220mm and can produce any bespoke sizes that are smaller.

Are they reusable?

Although the panels are reusable, it will depend on the designs fitting within the dimensions of another site.

Do you supply to the trade?

Yes, we supply printed hoarding panels to many sign companies. Please call or email your requirements.

Can we install ourselves?

We offer a full fitting service, but are happy to supply only if required and happy to discuss the suitable fixing methods

What are peep holes?

On some sites the objective may be to give passing foot traffic the ability to interact. We produce a circular hole in the ACM and make a matching hole in the timber with a clear polycarbonate overlay so traffic can see into the site.

Is the price dependent on how many colours?

No, with modern printed technology it makes no difference if you have one colour or multi-colours. Great news for the creative minded!

How long does it take to produce a printed hoarding?

We regularly work to tight deadlines and haven’t missed one yet. Give us your needs, and we will produce the results.
